The Great Gatsby film has been on everyone's lips. Whether you're a major Fitzgerald fan or just want to see it for DiCaprio's hotness factor, you cannot deny what an awesome Daisy Ms. Mulligan portrays. She totally embodies Daisy's carefree lifestyle and charm to a tee!
Enough about Gatsby! Let's talk about Carey Mulligan. Mulligan has been around for a while now, acting in films like
Drive and
An Education, the latter being the one that helped her gain widespread recognition. She's been quietly building her "film cred" and it wasn't until her audition for Daisy's role did her life really catapult into major stardom, which she can thank luscious Leo for since he told Luhrmann that they found their one and only Daisy as soon as Mulligan left the audition. *Sigh*
